I was part of the source as a Design Thinking coach along with two Agile coaches.
We helped the squads to master team work with Agile ceremonies, quick creativity and ideation workshops and visual representation of the solutions they created.
The Source - Design coaching with executives
Overview
The Source was initiated in 2020 by Renault Group’s new CEO Luca De Meo.
Context
Around 40 people from almost all of the company’s key departments were gathered in squads.
Each squad had to tackle a key and urgent matter (ex : Future of EV for our brands) and to come up in 3 months with objectives and possible solutions.

What I crafted as a design coach
- Experience Mapping to show and expand user-centric thinking.
- Iterative visual design to help teams (Customer Satisfaction, Mobilize…) pitch their work to Comex members.
What I learned from The source
- We have a plan, It’s huge and it’s already changing the company for the better.
- All of us can shift to collaborative and iterative ways of working.
- Visual representations help a lot when iterating even when you work on processes and ideas that have nothing to do with digital products.
- Maurizio Travaglini and his team are really impressive.
